These knives were suppose to be made for advertising purposes and have a blank round spot on one side of the knife. The knives never made it to the advertising button position. This does not detract from the feel or the use of the knife. It fits the hand well.
These are a folding knife and do require two hands to open and close the blade.
I have been buying and selling knives for over 6 years and these knives are a good quality knife.
I do sell some knives that are of lesser quality than these knives for $10 each and the cheaper quality knives are suppose to retail for $16.95 to $18.95 each!!
These knives have plastic scales over the all metal frame. They are not the cheesy cheap type knives that you can squeeze the plastic handles together on like others out there. This is a well built knife.
The risk of closure and cutting of your finger while you use the knife is reduced because of the blade half-stop feature. It does take pressure when on half-stop to close or open the knife.
I have learned through past experience that ANY knife made in China may have shields, inserts and handle material fall off.
The Chinese manufacturers use a glue that is only good enough to get the knives over here to the USA.
I have had to re-glue pieces onto knives that have fallen off.
No big deal, but if material falls off, just glue it back on.
It doesn't happen all that often, but it does happen to any knife made in china.
